The Observation

The Thesis
The problem isn't AI capability. It's AI accountability. We call it the information accountability gap — the distance between what AI can do and what AI can be trusted to do. Closing that gap requires infrastructure, not features. Not another AI product. A trust layer underneath all AI products.
What We Built
Connected Autonomy — a single runtime with three co-equal capabilities: memory (what AI knew), authority (who approved it), and execution (what happened, provably). These capabilities are inseparable. They operate together on every action. The result is a trust infrastructure layer that makes AI accountable at the infrastructure level — not as an afterthought.
At the center of the authority layer is the Human Judgment Interface — a structured surface for routing consequential AI decisions through human authority. It ensures that human oversight isn't a checkbox. It's a verified, receipted event in the chain of every action that matters.
Who We Are
We're builders from distributed systems, risk, and AI infrastructure backgrounds. We build complex distributed systems that anchor trust, truth, and context so AI can be reliable, accurate, and safe. We believed that AI's biggest unsolved problem wasn't making it more capable — it was making it trustworthy. So we built the infrastructure to do it.
Why Now
The EU AI Act is in force. US regulatory frameworks are emerging. Every regulated industry — financial services, healthcare, insurance, government — is facing the same question: how do we deploy AI without creating existential liability?

How We Work
We are not an AI company that bolted governance onto an existing product. We started with the governance problem and built the infrastructure to solve it. That distinction matters because it determines what is possible architecturally. Governance that operates at the execution layer — not alongside it — requires design decisions that cannot be retrofitted.
